Serving as a FPSA Board Chairman 2011-12, Scott Scriven, President and CEO of Weber Inc, opened the show with an official “Welcome!” to the 12,371 attendees who would visit over the next four days.
Fellow fpsa board and executive staff members helped Scriven cut the ribbon and open access to the 400+ exhibits of food processing technology, equipment and related services.
Following a year of careful planning and a hectic weekend of set-up, Weber’s booth was ready to host hundreds of processors who were eager to see the newest in slicing, skinning and robotic technology.
Weber’s new Bacon Slicer 702 was primed and ready for the hourly demonstrations we’d scheduled…
… to illustrate for processors the speed, slicing precision and cost-saving benefits to be gained through use of Weber’s remarkable new bacon slicing technology.
Weber’s new Blade Sharpener SSM…
… and new Pork Belly Trimmer were also unveiled in North America at Process Expo.
To demonstrate the advantages of using the compact new 702 Bacon Slicer in line, Weber added our Compact Loader to the exhibition…
… and enlisted help from our partners at Multivac, who provided their newest bacon packaging technology. Working together, we were able to demonstrate for bacon producers an amazing new level of seamless performance.
Weber’s popular Modern Deli was also primed and ready to serve sandwiches and liquid refreshments to our guests.
Thanks to all who “tipped” for the “free lunch” Weber was pleased to provide! Your generous donations have been matched by Weber and Multivac and contributed to the MISA Foundation scholarship program that benefits students who wish to someday join our industry.
As Process Expo moved forward, Weber was pleased that hundreds of new friends and long-standing customers came to visit and discuss new processing solutions, …
…marvel at the precision and speed of Weber’s Twin Pick Robotics…
… review upcoming equipment needs…
… discover the capabilities of Weber’s powerful 804 Slicer …
… and the flexibility of the mid-volume 404 Slicer exhibited at Process Expo.
Of course, we were gratified that so many processors (and a few of our industry rivals, too)…
… made the effort to visit Weber’s booth and witness the unmatched bacon slicing capabilities…
…we were able to illustrate and describe during our hourly demonstrations.
If you were unable to attend Process Expo and witness these first-ever North American demonstrations, …
Remember to put Process Expo on your calendar for October 14-17, 2013.
We’ll will be back at Chicago’s McCormick Place to introduce the new Weber slicing technology that our engineers are already working on today!
